You know, I've tried this before. I had no problems at all until I swapped the 'F' and 'G' keys - It turns out that instead of using the little bumps on 'F' and 'J', I was eyeballing where my fingers were.

Still, it's an interesting thing to do to improve your typing. If you're not quite a touch-typer, try changing 2-3 keys a week, it does improve your typing no end.

I wondered why your response to my site ideas was always "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" - and there's me thinking you just approved.

It's actually not been to bad, The biggest problem was slightly snapping one of the keys so it tends to come off and I end up pressing it down and leaving a row of M's.

If I get too stuck I've always got the on-screen keyboard. My b key keeps coming off though (formally the n key) :(

Ahhhh while I find this interesting, you're going to kick yourself when a deadline is approaching and you can't find the key you need :P

I touch type most of the time too but there are always moments when you let yourself down and need the visual backup of having the right keys in the right places :P
